Vamo provides unsecured short-term personal loans through its website. Customers apply online, provide personal and income information, complete identity verification, and receive an individual lending decision.

Loan terms

Vamo publishes the following general parameters:

• loan amount from PHP 1,000 to PHP 30,000;
• the first payment is generally due after 30 days;
• daily interest of approximately 1.3% on the unpaid principal;
• PHP 100 processing charge for each invoice;
• flexible repayment through minimum monthly payments.

Vamo allows customers to make a minimum payment instead of paying the entire balance. However, this may extend repayment for several months or even years and substantially increase the overall borrowing cost.

Approved money may be sent to a bank account, GCash, Maya, or GrabPay. Vamo states that applications approved before its daily cut-off may be disbursed on the same business day, but actual processing depends on verification and the receiving institution.
