What Cashalo does
Cashalo provides unsecured personal loans to Filipino consumers. Customers can use the service for bills, school expenses, medical needs, household costs, business expenses and other legal purposes.
Applications are completed digitally. Cashalo states that only one valid ID may be required and that no collateral or personal references are necessary for its standard cash-loan product. Approved funds may be transferred to an e-wallet or bank account.
Cashalo loan terms
The current Android application publishes the following terms:

- late-payment penalties of no more than 5% per month on the overdue amount;
- total interest, fees and penalties limited to 100% of the principal.
Loans outside these conditions may use different rates, subject to other applicable rules and the individual agreement.
