Initial experience with Cashalo was okay but after building up my score, my loan limit suddenly dropped back to ₱2,000. I needed more for an emergency and was rejected, which was frustrating. Customer service was slow to respond via email, so for future borrowers: keep screenshots of everything (especially approval messages and receipts), don’t rely solely on the app for records. If issues arise, submit concerns early and be persistent—Cashalo’s team eventually replies but not as fast as I’d hoped.
The loan application was processed quickly, which was great. However, I find their interest rates slightly higher compared to other microfinance options.
Cashalo has been a lifesaver for me during tough times. The interest rates are competitive. Thanks to their flexible payment options, I've managed to keep my finances under control without any stress.
