Copperstone Lending Inc. is a Philippine lending company registered under SEC Registration No. 2021050012959-04 and Certificate of Authority No. 3454. It operates the online lending brand MocaMoca.

Loan terms

The current MocaMoca application advertises:

• loan amount from PHP 2,000 to PHP 50,000;
• repayment period from 91 to 180 days;
• maximum APR of 20%;
• service fee from 5% to 10%;
• no other standard fees under the published example.

For a PHP 5,000 loan over 180 days, the app shows PHP 500 in service fees and PHP 246 in interest, producing a total repayment of PHP 5,746.

Applicants generally need to be Filipino citizens over 18 years old, hold a valid government-issued ID, and have a stable job or source of income.

Regulatory history

In 2024, the SEC revoked or suspended Copperstone’s authority and imposed penalties in connection with regulatory violations involving MocaMoca and several other declared platforms. Public records later reported that the penalties were lifted and the company’s authority was reconfirmed in December 2025. Copperstone subsequently appeared in current industry cooperation and enforcement initiatives in 2026.

Accordingly, its current status should not be described using only the 2024 revocation decision. The latest available evidence indicates that Copperstone and MocaMoca resumed authorised operations.
